Flash News by Ian Haley: Sydney's Liverpool track held its first big meeting of the year, celebrating Australia Day. Six rounds of 10 minute qualifiers best four to count and it was XRAY's team driver Ian Haley with his XB808 on top.

Haley had support from Paul Agazzi of A.T Racing supplying their Premium Buggy mix allowing the M5 Max Power from Custom Model Cars to run ten minutes plus. VP Pro as always had the rubber for the job both Ian and VP Pro team mate Wayne Walker running the Cut Offs in the A Main.
After leading the majority of race a hiccup at the 20 minute fuel stop cost the win however Ian still made the podium!
